Volunteer Opportunities for Groups:

Groups, such as service clubs, church youth groups, Sunday School classes, have many opportunities to have a rewarding experience volunteering here at the City Rescue Mission.  Here are some examples of volunteer opportunities for groups:

  • Group of approximately 5 experienced painters needed to paint a room in our Family Care Ministry during the month of March 2012.

  • Organize a drive for items needed at the City Rescue Mission.  We always need paper towels, toilet tissue, napkins, coffee, laundry detergent, bath towels, men's shower shoes, personal hygiene products, cleaning products, butter, sugar and silverware.

  • Churches or groups to adopt a month and host a Birthday or Holiday Party for our Men's Ministry or Covenant House.

  • Families needed to host a Friday night game night with the ladies and families at our Covenant House Women and Family Shelter.

  • If your group is able to take on a large project such as major landscaping or a large building project, please give us a call or complete the form below.
