Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it! We would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to connect to your Bible School with a local mission project. The City Rescue Mission's VBS to the RESCUE program offers an opportunity to partner with us through a monetary offering or through our "Hearts for Hygiene" products drive. Either option will give your children the opportunity to help needy individuals within their own community.
If your Bible School chooses to partner with us and register, we'll schedule a brief visit to your Bible School (if you so desire) from our RESCUE PATROL on a day that is convenient for you so your children may hear about the exciting ways God transforms lives here at the City Rescue Mission.
If your Bible School chooses to participate through a monetary offering, your children will learn how their mission offering can feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and most importantly, offer Hope in Jesus Christ to their neighbors in need.
If your Bible School chooses to participate through our "Hearts for Hygiene" products drive, your children will learn how their collection can help the homeless and less fortunate care for their personal hygiene needs and feel better about themselves.
The most exciting thing that your VBS participants will learn is that they don't have to go to a foreign country to be missionaries -- they will learn that they can be missionaries right here in their own community...even in their own family!

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) about VBS to the RESCUE:
Why does the City Rescue Mission request a financial offering? During the summer as most people are vacationing, our donations drop significantly but the need for our services does not. This is an especially critical time when any financial donation is gratefully appreciated.
Can we do a collection of items other than money? Yes! Please consider having your children collect hygiene products that can help the homeless and less fortunate care about their personal hygiene needs. Other needed items include backpacks and school supplies.
Must our church have a Bible School to participate in VBS to the RESCUE? No, the RESCUE PATROL is willing to visit your church at any time. A mission project involving the City Rescue Mission would be perfect for your Sunday School, Youth Group or other children's program at any time of the year.
